The service

OneSchool Companion is a desktop application for managing and automating OneSchool class data retrieval. This website ("the portal") handles billing, licensing, and account management for the desktop app only.

Plans

A 14-day free trial is available. A 14-day free trial started on 4eq.co (Start my 14-day free trial) needs no payment details; a trial started by choosing a plan on this website takes card details up front but nothing is charged until the trial ends. After the trial, or if a subscription ends, the app carries on under the Free plan (one class, with ads, and some features unavailable). The full app requires an active subscription, billed per teacher: Monthly ($16.50 AUD/month), Quarterly ($29.70 AUD every 3 months) or Annual ($82.50 AUD/year), with no class limit. Prices include GST. School/bulk purchases add extra teacher seats at 20% off the same billing period's price ($13.20/month, $23.76/quarter or $66.00/year per extra teacher).

Billing is handled by Australia College Pty Ltd. Charges appear on your card statement as "AC: TEACHER TOOL".

Ads on the Free plan

The Free plan shows our own ads in the app: in the side panels beside the main menu, before a class update (the update starts once the ad is closed, after its minimum viewing time) and briefly when Teach/View is opened. Ads come only from us — no ad networks or third-party trackers. To show them, the app sends only its licence pass; no student, class or school information is used or sent. We count total views and clicks per ad, not per person. Paid plans have no ads.

Refer a friend

Account owners get a personal referral link in My account. When someone who hasn't used 4eq before follows your link and then subscribes with a card on 4eq.co (even if they are still in a free trial), you earn one free week, up to 52 weeks in total. You keep the week if they later cancel. A week is added to your next payment date, your trial, or your complimentary access, or is saved and added when you next subscribe. Only one referral counts per person; referring yourself, or reusing a card or account that has already had 4eq, doesn't count. Trials started from inside the desktop app aren't linked to a referral. Referral weeks have no cash value, and we may remove weeks obtained by misuse.

Cancellation & refunds

Cancel any time from the billing portal (/manage or /account). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no partial-period refunds are offered by default. [TBD: confirm your actual refund policy before launch.]

Data

Student names, MIS/EQ IDs, class rosters, behaviour notes, attendance data, and OneSchool credentials never leave your device — the portal stores only billing and licence metadata (email, school name, subscription status, a hashed licence key, device fingerprints, and reported class counts). Licence enforcement

Licence enforcement is practical access control, not unbreakable DRM. We reserve the right to revoke a licence for non-payment, abuse, or breach of these terms.
